We had a great time! The house is fantastic and everything works perfectly smooth. The house is just beautiful and I can't think about anything for improvement.

The House
The Villa sleeps six persons in three double bedrooms and two persons in one twin room. Two of the doubles bedrooms have ensuite double shower rooms while the other double shares a bath/shower room with the twin room. All bathrooms have double basins.
There is a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area that has been equipped and furnished to the highest standards. State of the art entertainment systems including plasma televisions, wireless internet and Sky TV, are integrated into the house.
Cloud 9's north facing position is not overlooked and thus affords the utmost privacy. Surrounded on 3 sides by cedar decking and terracing the stunning sea and coastal views can be enjoyed from sunrise to sunset, whether from the lounging decks or from the pool and barbecue areas.

How do we find Cloud 9 & obtain a key?
On confirmation of your booking you will be sent address and key instructions relating to Cloud 9.
How often does the car ferry run?
Every 10 - 15 mins
How long does the trip take?
Approximately 7 minutes.
What time does the ferry start?
6.40am from Okiato/Russell side, 7.00am from the Opua/Paihia side.
What time does the ferry finish?
10.00pm from the Opua/Paihia side, 9.40pm from the Okiato/Russell Side.
Do we have to come and go via the car ferry always?
No you can come around the Waikare Inlet road, just north of Kawakawa but it is not recommended unless you are going to miss the ferry as it is a metal road, very windy and not lit for night travel.
Will someone be there in case we need help regarding the house?
Yes, the property manager will be available for you to contact – contact details are well displayed in the house.
Is there internet/Wi-FI at the house?
Yes.
Is the pool heated?
No - the pool is a summer pool (unheated)
Can I buy groceries in Russell?
Yes we have 2 Four Square grocery stores and an organics shop.
Is there a wine/liquor shop?
Yes, also both Super Markets stock wine & beer etc.
In high season do we have to book trips before we get there?
It does help, to ensure you can go when you want to, we can arrange this on your behalf.
Is there a Catholic/Baptist/Anglican Church service?
Yes check at the Churches for service times.
Can I catch fish in Russell?
There are several fishing charters operating and you can always throw a line in from the rocks or even the wharf. There is a fishing tackle specialist store where gear can be bought or hired.
